Design Steps
In order to make a furniture purchasing decision, you need to view drawings and specifications that exactly describe the furniture that you seek. We make it easy for you to obtain custom designs and pricing, at no charge, and with no obligation to order. Follow our simple Design Steps to create an outline of your needs and tastes and we will send you free design drawings. Once the design is just right for you, we will mail you a detailed priced proposal for you to consider. If you decide to order, our craftsmen will build your furniture in our local shop.
Our Design Steps lead you along a path of making design decisions and selecting design options, as you view examples of available options in our previous work.
Having worked with hundreds of furniture-seekers over the years, we can inject many different paradigms into the design process - and into your decision-making process. (Decades from now, we want you to look back and know that we empowered you by sharing the full benefit of our experience with you.)
“A furniture purchasing decision is actually more important than that of buying a car or house, because fine furniture will last far longer, if built to MAPLETREE’s exacting quality standards. With this in mind, we carefully design furniture for the present and for the future, to meet each person’s current needs and future needs, and we build it to last for centuries.” Peter Elliott, MAPLETREE’s Founder & Owner
This approach will require a paradigm shift (change in perception), as you are accustomed to shopping for furniture by scouring through furniture showrooms, catalogues and websites, hoping to find something that matches your needs, tastes and budget. You are now considering procuring furniture in the way people did for centuries, before there were factories to mass-produce furniture. Over our fifteen years in existence, we have honed the art of designing and building custom furniture, so that we can collect the input you give us (your functional needs, tastes and budget) and create responsive designs for you, merging your input and with our vast experience. This will result in inspiring, yet functional designs that you probably are not even imagining at this moment. (Our customers call us “mind readers”, because we have the ability to sense what they want and put it down on paper, in the form of design drawings.)
