Wilder

The Wilder family, MapleTree customers since 2002, wanted to fill this big empty wall with curio display space, covered storage and, last but not least, their big-screen television. In response, we created this set of cherry cabinets, hiding components behind smoked glass flip-down doors (for remote controller operation). The television screen is framed in a snap-on cherry frame that can be easily replaced with a custom frame to fit any future television that the Wilders might buy - and the space is convertible to house a tabletop TV or a plasma TV. We stained the cherry to match the kitchen cabinetry at the opposite end of this room. The result: an art gallery for curios that incorporates a television and a sound system.
