Matesic Sideboard and Hutch

The Matesics found us at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show (see MapleTree at the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show) and told us of the sideboard and hutch they were seeking. After six months of idea sharing and drawing development, we achieved a winning design. The green-hued granite is a nice foil to the red cherry. Fully extending bottle racks emerge from the lower cabinet. Glass sides in the upper cabinets help this piece to merge with the adjoining room and "blend" with the wall. Hidden cabinet lighting, with dimmer switches, completes the magical effect that this piece has on the dining room, living room, and adjacent kitchen.
